Coverage coffee

EUDR for coffee.

Coffee often moves through a long chain before it reaches the EU. Producers, plots, cooperatives, wet and dry mills, warehouses, exporters, and roasters all sit along the way, and the evidence has to hold together across every link. Under the EUDR, coffee falls under CN 0901: green and roasted beans, decaffeinated coffee, husks and skins, and substitutes that contain coffee.

What counts as sufficient proof shifts with origin. Farm structure, land registration, protected-area data, enforcement records, and legality requirements vary from one producing region to the next. Bosqio's coffee modules are built around those differences, so operators start from the right legal and geospatial context.

Origin is not the only complication. Shade-grown and agroforestry systems can blur the tree-cover signals that remote sensing relies on. These checks are best read alongside plot history and local land use. The Bosqio App helps close that gap on the ground, letting field teams capture geopositions and geolocated photos directly at the plot.
