Checks four layers per plot
Every plot, checked layer by layer.
For every layer, Bosqio uses country-specific data: public datasets from the country the plot lies in. It keeps the source of every result.
The plot as the producer mapped it in the Bosqio app. Bosqio checks the quality of the geolocation and looks for duplicate plots.
For plots in Brazil: the rural property register, indigenous territories, protected areas, environmental embargoes and labour inspections.
For plots in Brazil: forest cover at the EUDR cut-off date of 31 December 2020, and any forest loss since 2021.

Verification
Bosqio checks the submitted evidence with transparent, reproducible methods: geolocation quality, remote-sensing deforestation baselines, legality indicators, protected areas, duplicate plots, official registries, public enforcement records, and dataset hashes.

Risk review
Operators review risk in context: alerts, data layers, producer submissions, supporting documents, and mitigation records. When an alert needs follow-up, additional producer evidence can be added, reviewed, and linked to the final decision.
